YMCA camps provide life-changing experiences. Friendships blossom, self-confidence emerges, independence grows, and through it all our campers build resilience to help them face new challenges.
For many kids, camp is only an option with the support of donors. At the YMCA of Halifax/Dartmouth, we hold over 4,400 weeks of summer camps. Of those, 1 in every 4 require financial assistance to register.
With your support, the YMCA will remove barriers for all kids to participate in summer camp. This includes financial assistance for registration, transportation needs and cultural barriers, so every kid can enjoy the magic of camp.

Yes, we will send you a tax receipt for gifts of any amount. If you become a monthly donor, we will provide you with a receipt upon each payment for your tax return.

Yes! A donation of securities or mutual fund shares is the most efficient way to give charitably. With a donation of securities or mutual funds, capital gains tax does not apply, allowing you to give more.
