Y-RISE
Y-RISE is an employment readiness program for racialized newcomer women who want to work in Canada. It supports participants with basic English to build confidence, improve job skills, and understand the Canadian workplace.
The program includes workshops, one-on-one support, and hands-on work experience. Participants also receive help with resumes, job applications, and accessing community resources.
The goal is to help participants feel ready and confident to find and keep a job in Canada
Program Objectives

Program structure:
- Group Workshops on employment readiness and workplace skills.
- One-on-One Support on personalized action plans and coaching.
- Hands-on Work Experience placements.
- Wraparound Support on community resources and referrals.
