Day Camp Lost and Found Policy
  • At  YMCA Summer Day Camps, we understand that personal belongings can sometimes be misplaced. To ensure that lost items are returned to their owners, we have established a Lost and Found policy.

    Lost and Found Procedure:

       – All found items will be collected and stored in the Lost and Found area located at each specific sign in location.

       – Campers and parents will be notified of the Lost and Found area during the first day of camp and through periodic reminders.

       – Lost items can be claimed during camp hours by providing a description of the item to camp staff.

       – Items will be kept in the Lost and Found for a period of two weeks from the date they were found.
       – After the two-week retention period, unclaimed items will be handled as follows:
         – Usable clothing and items will be donated to a local charity.
         – Perishable items will be discarded.

       – To minimize the risk of losing items, we recommend that campers label all personal belongings with their name.

YMCA Summer Day Camps is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. Campers are encouraged to leave valuable items at home.
